Who are the Modern Rōnins?
In feudal Japan a rōnin was a warrior who had no lord or master they served, considered a tale of demise. But here in our modern world we believe rōnins exist, men who are looking for new purpose.

With that in mind here at Modern Rōnins we aim to create a community of like minded individuals who want to break free from the norm and excel in their everyday life and find purpose. We discuss EDC, gear, apparel, philosophy, and more. All of our gear choices, attitudes, and beliefs fall into the following pillars.
Honorable - Hold yourself to higher standard than those around you. We believe in truth, doing the right thing, and protecting those that cannot protect themselves without question.
Efficient - No action, energy, space, or other should be wasted. Everything you do in your life should be done with purpose and with no wasted effort. “Efficiency is doing better what is already being done” - Peter Drucker
Versatile - Be able to adapt to your environment and task. Avoid becoming trapped in life. Train your mind and body to become a tool that you can use to overcome any situation.
Strong - In all things, you must have a strong mind and body. But strength can also come in many forms, your relationships, your spirituality, and attitude.
Respectful - Without giving respect, one cannot expect to be respected. Here we believe in respecting your fellow human regardless of differences, but make no mistake this is not weakness. We are and will stand up for ourselves if pushed.
